GENERAL POLICIES

/Adverse weather or road conditions may be subject to additional charges.

Applicable Fees and Taxes: are additional charges that apply to a reservation such as: tolls, parking, fuel surcharge, sales tax, green fees, etc.

Data Entry Errors Made Online: If there are date and/or time errors that result in a wrong day or no-show the full fare will charged.

CANCELLATIONS GUIDELINES: Call NATIONWIDE 1-800-367-0070

A cancellation number is issued and is required for any disputes.

Leaving pick-up without contacting A-1 Limousine prior to leaving will result in a FULL FARE No-Show charge.

Any reservations requiring permitting or other upfront costs or deposits will only be refunded if they can be recouped.

Full fare rates plus gratuity and all applicable fees and taxes will be charged unless the vehicle is canceled within the guidelines listed below.

Wedding/Prom/Special Event Vehicles: Event date and time is the estimated time to leave our office. If event transportation is canceled more than 2 weeks in advance a full refund will be issued. If event transportation is canceled between one and two weeks from the event a 50% cancelation fee will apply. If event transportation is canceled between 2 days and 7 days from the event a 75% cancelation fee will apply. If event transportation is canceled between 24 and 48 hours from the event a 100 % cancelation fee will apply.

Vehicle Types:
SEDAN/CROSSOVER/SUV = Cancellations are not charged if notification is made 4 hours before the pickup in the New York Metro area except where the pickup is more than 3 hours from the service office, the cancelation must be made 90 minutes before the required dispatch time. Not giving required notice may result in cancellation charges up to the full rate for the trip. For trips not in New York Metro area please see Affiliate Jobs section for cancellation guidelines.
LIMOUSINE = 72 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time
VAN = 72 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time
LIMO BUS = 72 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time
MOTORCOACH/BUS = 14 days prior to pick up date and time, plus any prepaid permits or entrance fees

Affiliate Jobs: (Travel Outside of New York Metro Area) For jobs booked through FPGP (For People Going Places) our affiliate network, cancellation policies differ by the vendor and/or location. In most cases a minimum of 24 hours is needed to cancel without fee. All fees incurred are the responsibility of the booker and/or passenger for each reservation.

Credit Card Charge Back Fees: will be assessed an administration fee of $5.00 or 5% whichever is greater per transaction.

Changes in Credit Card Billing: 25 or more days past trip date will be assessed an administration fee of $5.00 or 5% whichever is greater per transaction plus any charges assessed from the bank.

Child/Baby Seat/Booster Seat(s): Available upon request, $15.00 per Infant, Toddler or Booster seat.

Damages to Vehicles/Cleaning Fee: incurred by the Renter and/or party of the Renter – including but not limited to Alcohol spillage/food /trash ($200.00) broken glasses and/or replacement ($50.00) upholstery rips or replacement ($550.00-$2000.00) Vomit ($200.00 fee) or any interior or exterior damage caused by the Renter or party of the Renter.

Debit Visa/MasterCard Bank Cards (Pre-Authorization): A-1 Limousine does Pre-Authorize all Credit/Debit card for 125% of the estimated charges. If you do not wish to use your Debit Card as final payment, it is strongly advised not to use a Debit Card when reserving your ground transportation arrangements. Please refer to Credit Card Charge Back Fees if your Debit Card has been charged and you want to use another payment type. Pre-Authorizations hold funds and are in effect for approximately 72 hours (3 business days) depending on your individual bank.

Deposits: A 50% deposit is required for all motorcoaches & specialty vehicles at the time of booking and full payment 3 weeks prior to the trip/services. Cancelation policy is as stated below, with any permits and non-refundable tickets additional if already acquired.

Discounts/Adjustments: A customer is able to receive ONE Discount/Adjustment per trip. The use of multiple Discount/Adjustments is prohibited. (for example cannot apply AAA Discount to a corporate or contracted rate).

AAA discount: A-1 Limousine does offer an AAA discount of 10% off one round trip per year, not applicable to Vans, Buses or FPGP (affiliate reservations).

Early Morning Fee:  Trips between 12:00 AM and 4:59AM incur $15.00 Fee*.

Email Communications: By providing your email you consent to receive all forms of email communication from A-1 Limousine, including but not limited to, trip confirmations, trip changes, marketing or promotional emails. You can opt-out of marketing or advertising emails by using the “unsubscribe” link or mechanism noted in marketing or advertising emails you receive from us.

Extra Stop Charges: vary on location and deviation from the most efficient route from Pick-Up to Drop-Off location.

Fuel Surcharge Rate: fuel surcharge will be based upon the per gallon gasoline price published by the department of energy U.S. midgrade reformulated retail gasoline (www.eiadoe.gov) for the central Atlantic region utilizing Fuel Surcharge Percentage: will be updated on the 1st of every month and be calculated on the base fare plus any additional stops.

Gift Cards: are available in any denomination, customization is available.

Gratuity: will be calculated on the base fare, extra stop(s) and wait time at a rate of 18% unless otherwise specified

Green Fee/Carbon Offset: fees are calculated by per mile, per vehicle. For more info please contact info@a1limo.com

Holiday Rates: Holiday rates will be assessed on the following days:

New Years Day, Presidents Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day
Friday after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, December 31 (New Years Eve)

Hourly Rates: Unless stated otherwise by your booking agent, all hourly trips will be charged from the time the vehicle departs from our garage in Princeton, NJ until the time it returns back to our garage after dropping off. For trips based out of our Lehigh Valley, PA office, hourly trips will be charged from the time the vehicle departs from our garage in Whitehall, PA, until the time it returns back to our garage after dropping off.

Itinerary Changes: Any changes made to the trip itinerary after the initial booking/quote will result in a recalculation of the fare and may change the price.  Changes to the itinerary after the vehicle has been dispatched may result in additional charges.

Lost or Damaged Items: A-1 Limousine and its Affiliates For People Going Places Network are not responsible for items that are left in the vehicle, lost or damaged. A-1 Limousine and For People Going Places Network reserves the right to charge a delivery/ shipping and handling fee for returning lost items if found.

Late Night Fee: Trips between 12:00 AM and 4:59AM incur $15.00 Fee*.

Luggage Cart: Any luggage cart fee incurred will be passed thru to the billable parties and added to a customer’s invoice.

State Sales Tax: State Sales Tax will be collected where and when we are required.

No Show Charges/Cancel on Arrivals: Failure to cancel a trip in accordance with the Cancellations Guidelines will be subject to a FULL FARE Cancellation Fee, wait time, gratuity plus all Applicable Fees and Taxes.

Pre-authorization: A-1 Limousine will make a pre-authorization on your credit or debit card in the days leading up to your trip to confirm that payment for services will be available. Once the trip is complete the full charge will process through and any remaining monies will be released by your credit card company/bank. Please note that while using a debit card, the pre-authorization, your bank will hold the actual funds in your account. A-1 Limousine recommends using a credit card where available, instead of a debit card.

Privacy Policy: What we collect: Identifiers and contact information & Profile and account information. How do we collect it? You provide it when you book a trip with a sales associate or booking agent, visit or contact us, reserve a trip online, or via the app. View the our full privacy policy here

Proms/School Dances: are booked with predetermined guidelines and are priced on a Princeton, NJ garage to garage basis, additional time is billed in 30-minute increments plus all Applicable Fees and Taxes.

Parking: Any parking fee incurred will be passed thru to the billable parties and added to a customer’s invoice.

Payment Types: A-1 Limousine accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Credit Cards. We will accept Personal checks with matching identification and a Credit Card guarantee.

Travel time to Airports: A1 Limousine and its For People Going Places Affiliate Network will suggest an appropriate pick-up time for the departure flight listed, if a passenger/booker requests their own pick-up time, A-1 Limousine and its For People Going Places Affiliate Network can not be held responsible if the passenger misses their flight due to traffic delays, additional stops or wait time at the customer’s request.

Disclaimer: A-1 Limousine and For People Going Places Network and can not be held responsible for any delays as a result of traffic, emergency road closure, adverse weather conditions that are beyond our control.

Tolls: Any tolls incurred by A-1 Limousine or its For People Going Places Affiliate Network in order to complete a garage to garage round trip via the most efficient route will be passed thru to the billable parties and added to a customers invoice.

Wait and Return trips: are booked with predetermined minimum hours and are priced on a Princeton, NJ garage to garage basis, additional time is billed in 30-minute increments plus Gratuity, Applicable Fees and Taxes.

Wait time:

Airport: After a 45-minute courtesy grace period from the last updated flight arrival time, wait time will be billed in 30-minute increments and thereafter.
Cruise Ships: After a 45 minutes grace period, wait time will be billed in 15-minute increments.
***if your trip is 5 days or more please allow 2 – 2 ½ hours after the ship has docked for your Pick-Up Time.
***if your trip was less then 5 days please allow 1 –1 ½ hours after the ship has docked for your Pick-Up Time off.
Home, Office, Restaurant, Venue, Casino, etc: After a 20 minute grace period wait time will be billed in 30 minutes increments.
Train Station: After a 45-minute courtesy grace period from the last updated arrival time, wait time will be billed in 30-minute increments and thereafter.
