A-1 Limousine has in place an ongoing preventative maintenance program for our entire fleet. Each vehicle is serviced every 2500 miles. Along with the service, our “ASE” trained and certified technicians perform a rigorous and complete safety check. This preventative maintenance program encompasses over 125 points that are performed each time a vehicle is serviced, which is about once a week.
A-1 Limousine has attained the status of “An Authorized Cadillac Warranty Service Facility”. We are one of only a few private facilities, nationwide, to have attained this rating with Cadillac.
Our detailer staff is charged with the responsibility of maintaining the visual appearance of the fleet and performing some minor repairs. Each vehicle is meticulously cleaned, vacuumed, washed, windows washed inside and out, deodorized and fragranced before returning to service. A-1 Limousine also employees one “ASE” certified collision repair/refinish technician. As such, most minor to moderate repairs are performed in house.
In the event of a vehicle breakdown/accident:
Dispatch will be advised of the situation and the location of the breakdown or issue. A-1’s staff will make a determination as to where the closest vehicle is and reroute that vehicle to the location to pick up the passenger(s) and complete the trip. During these times, A-1 Limousine will do what ever is possible to make the customer(s) comfortable.
If any damage is incurred to the vehicle during the course of a chauffeur’s shift, the chauffeur must report this to A-1 Limousine immediately. In the event of a motor vehicle crash, A-1 Limousine notifies the Safety Director immediately. Details are summarized and recovery instructions are provided. Upon return to our corporate headquarters, the chauffeur / coach driver will complete an incident / accident report and an accident interview will be performed. All facts are reviewed and if the criteria are met, post accident drug and alcohol testing will be performed. Disciplinary action, if warranted is implemented.
