coronavirus action plan

coronavirus action plan

New safety policies in place at A-1 include taking the temperature of all chauffeurs, bus drivers and office employees PRIOR to the start of their workday. If an employee registers a temperature they will be sent home.

In addition to temperature, guidelines include screening questions. If an employee shows suspected symptoms they will be sent home.

If an employee registers a temperature they will remain out of the workplace until they have been fever-free for 72 hours.

Safety is our #1 priority at A-1 Limousine and our sister company, Triangle Tours. Our chauffeurs and motorcoach operators are cleaning their vehicles in between every ride with HOSPITAL-GRADE disinfectants. Our in-house service team deep cleans, details and fully inspects each vehicle upon return to A-1.

Chauffeurs and bus drivers are required to wear protective face masks and gloves while operating our vehicles are performing all jobs. During this time chauffeurs will forego a handshake but will assist with luggage and other items as needed. Passengers are required to wear face masks while in the vehicle (unless unable to do so due to a medical condition). If a passenger does not have a mask, one can be provided.

In an effort to keep social distancing, vehicles are equipped with barriers between the front and back rows. In our motorcoach vehicles, the bus driver has a barrier between himself and the passengers.

A-1 Limousine has installed CIMR Tech in our motorcoaches. This is a PERMANENT and continuous cleaning system that works to kill airborne bacteria and viruses. Please learn more about this technology here.

A-1 Limousine is committed to ensuring that you are provided with a safe and comfortable experience no matter where you travel. The following protocols are based on current regulations and recommendations from the CDC, OSHA, Federal, State and Local regulations. We are in this together and looking forward to serving you now and in the future.

A+ Protection

Safety is our number one priority at A-1 Limousine and our sister company, Triangle Tours. In an effort to be transparent about our already vigorous cleaning efforts, you will notice new tags in or vehicles that certify our chauffeurs and motorcoach operators are cleaning down our vehicles in between EVERY ride.

Frequent Cleaning

As an additional precautionary step, we are encouraging passengers to travel with hand sanitizer or anti-bacterial wipes. The CDC also recommends washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and clean running water. Don’t forget the backs of your hands, between your fingers and under your fingernails, and dry your hands with a clean towel or let them air dry.

What to Avoid

Avoid close contact with anyone suffering from a cough or fever. Avoid touching your face: your eyes, nose and mouth. Avoid coughing or sneezing directly into your hand; instead use a tissue or the inside of your elbow.

Stay Home

Based on the expert advice from medical professionals in infectious disease, we urge passengers not to travel if they are sick with an acute respiratory illness. Seek medical assistance as needed. We have instructed our employees not to come to work if they are exhibiting any illness associated with a respiratory illness or if they have a fever above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

**A-1 Limousine and it’s affiliates in no way promise your health or well-being. We are taking all preventative measures available to use and following the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), but we cannot promise or guarantee your health. If you do feel ill, we highly recommend seeking help from a trusted medical professional.
